Melvyn Price qualified as a chartered accountant in Manchester in 1975 and moved to Spalding in March 1979. He became a partner with Stephenson, Smart & Co, a predecessor to Moore Thompson, later the same year.

He has worked with a broad spectrum of local businesses and is responsible for a number of major clients. Melvyn is also a director of Moore Thompson’s IT company, MT Computer Consultancy Limited.

I joined the firm straight from school as a receptionist, progressing to become a secretary.

After I was offered the opportunity to "computerise" with the firm, I subsequently became Moore Thompson's IT manager, looking after all the hardware and software for the office.

I have now moved to MT Computer Consulting as accounting solutions manager.
